Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor’s Befikre has made a profit of Rs 50 crore already

Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor‘s Befikre released last Friday and since then it has been performing well at the box office. While it has earned Rs 43.22 crore at the domestic market, it has raked in Rs 12.48 crore at the overseas market. While these aren’t huge figures, considering the limited release, it is a decent number. However, people are wondering if the movie has been profitable or not? Well let me inform you that the film has been a profitable venture. In fact, Befikre has already made a profit of Rs 50.70 crore.
However, we got our hands on the detailed economics of Befikre. Check out the total cost of production (including the publicity and advertising expenditure) and compare it with the total collections at the box office (adding the revenue generated after the sale of the various rights). Then you will understand what we are talking about. Anyway, here is the detailed break down for you:
Befikre profit chart
In just 5 days, the movie has managed to make a profit of Rs 50 crore. Isn’t that amazing? In fact, even after a dip on the first Tuesday (day 5), the Befikre makers will still be celebrating the success of the movie. And with an estimated earning of Rs 70-80 crore in its lifetime domestic run, we are sure the overall profit can touch the Rs 100 crore mark.
Interestingly, the audience is still raving about Befikre at the cinemas.
