Aamir Khan’s Dangal is having a dream run at the box office even though it had been released just two days ago. Dangal has grossed about Rs. 64.60 crores within these two days, making its collections just behind Sultan, who grossed nearly about Rs 74 crores within the same time. As of now, it is all set to be a Lambi race ka ghoda, with so many positive reviews pouring in for the movie.
Although it still has not been able to defeat Salman Khan’s Sultan, Dangal has been able to eclipse the weekly collections of other huge movies like Baaghi (RS 59.72 crore), Dishoom (Rs. 53.34 crore), Mohenjo Daro (Rs. 51.18 crore), Befikre (Rs. 48.75 crore) and Udta Punjab (Rs. 48.5 crore).
By the time we get Sunday’s collections, the movie would have already beaten Shah Rukh Khan’s FAN’s weekly collections. If the luck is in its favour, it would also cross the Rs. 100 crores mark as well. With no other big releases, at least till the time Raees and Kaabil release, that too, a month ahead, Dangal will be having a fairly smooth ride. There is also a chance that the movie will manage to cross the collections of PK, another Aamir Khan movie which is also the highest grossing movie of all time….
Apart from Aamir Khan, Dangal stars Sakshi Tanwar, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Aparshakti Khurrana, Sanya Malhotra and National award winning actor Girish Kulkarni. The movie is directed by Nitesh Tiwari, and is jointly produced by Aamir Khan and UTV Films. Dangal’s music is composed by Pritam.
