Emma Watson’s rendition of Something There for Beauty and the Beast is mesmerising

Listening to Emma Watson croon to Something There from Beauty and the Beast could perhaps be the best way to ring in New Years. Ever since Disney announced the live action version of Beauty and the Beast, expectations have been super high. Starring Emma Watson and Dan Stevens in lead roles adds more charm to this version of the film. The first song from the film has been released by Beauty and the Beast’s official Facebook page. While there’s no video out yet but this snipped shared by the makers will surely uplift you. If you remember, the song is sung by Belle after she starts seeing a new side of the Prince/Beast. A 30 second audio clip has been shared where Emma sounds mesmerising.
One of the film’s stars, Josh Gad even tweeted out the clip, stating, “Your first taste of the familiar music that awaits you come March 17th.” Well, it’s quite different from the original song that featured Angela Lansbury, who voiced Belle in the 1991 animated film. You can check out videos of the same below. We thought perhaps it would be nice to know who you found better, Obviously being a classic, our interest fall on the original one. But Emma’s rendition is also refreshing. You can check both of them below and tell us which one you found better. This is just one of the songs that have released from Beauty and the Beast/ Music composer of the film, Alan Menken has composed several new songs for the film, like “For Evermore,” “Our Song Lives On,” and “Days in the Sun.”

The film stars Watson and Dan Stevens as Beauty and the Beast, respectively, while Ewan McGregor, Ian McKellen, Stanley Tucci, Audra McDonald and Emma Thompson voice the film’s inanimate characters. Kevin Kline stars as Belle’s father, Luke Evans plays Gaston and Gad appears as sidekick Le Fou. Slated to release on March, 17, 2017, we’re super excited. Not just because the film stars Emma and Dan as leads but also because we’ll get to relive the phenomenal 1991 animated film.
