Fawad Khan ousted, Diljit Dosanjh to romance Kareena Kapoor in 'Udta Punjab'
Jamshedpur : Udta Punjab is turning out to be a gossip yielding
machine ever since the reports came in that ex-couple Kareena Kapoor
Khan and Shahid Kapoor will be reuniting in the flick. With new inputs
the movie is turning out to be better and the one which made it even
bigger was Pakistani heartthrob Fawad Khan to star opposite Kareena.
However, the latest update will break many hearts.
If the leading daily is to be believed then Fawad Khan is ousted from the project and his place is occupied by Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh. Yes, it appears to be a funny game in which the pin of who will star opposite Kareena is dropping from one actor to another.
Earlier, it appeared that begum of Saif Ali Khan might be paired with Shahid Kapoor, however reports were rubbished and Alia Bhatt was zeroed in to pair up with her ‘Shandaar’ co-star.
Later, 'Hawaizaada' actor Ayushmann Khurrana’s name did rounds for a while but then again there were different denials from the both him and Kareena. While, rumors were made that Kareena said no to star opposite him for the reasons best known to her, Khurrana stepped back citing date issues as he has both of his hands filled with ‘Hamara Bajaj’ and ‘1911’.
Earlier this week, the heart beat of millions of ladies- Fawad’s name cropped up for ‘Udta Pujab’. And now when he is too sidelined, we are suspicious over the fact that the third actor Diljit is really the final contender in the list.

Akshay Kumar Starrer BABY Banned in Pakistan!
The movie Baby which revolves around
the concept of terminating the terror by an undercover team has been
banned in Pakistan by it’s censor board.
This is the second time Pakistan banned an Indian movie, the first was ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ that featured an ISI agent. The Akshay Kumar starrer Baby directed by Neeraj Pandey was set to release all over Pakistan on 23rd January 2015 but was banned before its release. The Dawn Newspaper said “Censor
boards in Islamabad and Karachi have decided to ban the film because it
portrays a negative image of Muslims and the negative characters in the
film also have Muslim names.”
The movie Baby also features three Pakistani actors among whom Mikaal Zulfiqar and Rasheed Naz are the two. All the CDs and DVDs have also been banned in Islamabad.
The director Neeraj Pandey had quoted that the film was not “anti-Pakistan” or “anti-Islam”. Pandey had told The Hindu, “I feel people can be wrong but a religion or a nation can’t be wrong. And we are cognisant of it. We have three Pakistani actors in the film. There is no Pakistan bashing and there is no jingoism towards a particular country or religion. The core DNA of the film is fighting against terrorism …” Akshay Kumar has also clarified that the film film does not show Pakistan in a negative light. “Baby is not an anti-Pakistan film. In fact, it has three Pakistani actors who play very important roles. See, some elements in Pakistan can be wrong but a whole nation cannot be wrong. Terrorism has no religion, and we believe that religion and country are two different things,” The director said.

Story so far: Mahakumbh is about a father and a son who unfortunately get separated from each other during Mahakumbh at Allhahabad. Shivanand (Manish Wadhwa) and his young son Rudra visit Mahakumbh where the former gets kidnapped by unknown persons which leaves little Rudra to die. Udiya Baba (Robin Das) saves Rudra and brings him to Maii- Muii (Seema Biswas) at Benaras. Maii-Muii raises young Rudra (Siddharth Nigam) as her own son and both of them form a strong attachment with each other. Meanwhile Shivanand has been taken to Poland and kept under captive to find out about ‘Amrut’ a known source of ‘Immortality’ which is related to ‘Mahakumbh’. The secret lies in the mark on Rudra’s back of which no one but only Shivanand is aware of. As the years pass by, Rudra turns into a handsome but somewhat reclusive man (Gautam Rode) and he meets Maya (Payal Rajput). Though Maya is attracted towards Rudra, his ruggedness becomes an obstacle in these two coming together. How the love blossom between Rudra and Maya and how they will discover the secret of Mahakumbh and Rudra’s involvement in it will be fun to watch in this mytho thriller.
What’s hot: It’s for the first time on television, that ‘Mytho Thriller’ genre has been showcased. The importance of Rudra’s mark, Shivanand’s perseverance to safe guard the secret, Rudra’s hidden powers, and his bond with Maii-Muii has been established beautifully in the earlier episodes. Child actor Siddharth Nigam has a done a commendable job in emphasizing on various factors of Rudra’s personalities at young age. It’s a delight to watch award winning actress Seema Biswas on small screen. Manish Wadhwa who made a mark on small screen as Chankaya is once again portraying a solid role of Shivanand and blends effortlessly with it. The surprise package is undoubtedly Gautam Rode and Payal Rajput. Till now we have seen Gautam in a romantic role. This will be the first time, the actor has tried something different and that too of such a powerful person. He has taken lot of effort to portray Rudra which is evident from his physique, the way he delivers his dialogues; Gautam has done an awesome job. Petite Payal Rajput compliments Gautam’s Rudra with her portrayal of demure at the same time strong Maya. What adds to her overall personality is her somewhat husky yet sensuous voice. She fits the bill perfectly. Also shooting at the actual locales, from Poland to the Ghats of Varanasi, packed with real life stunts makes the serial more appealing.
What’s not: The flashback scenes in between, make the script time consuming and repetitive, instead of taking it ahead. Also, Shivanand’s track which happens in Poland looks bit neglected.
Our take: Perfect casting, advanced technology and intriguing storyline, Mahakumbh will be a visual treat for the audiences. The genre itself is rare on small screen and the way it is showcase, the TRPs are soon to be rocketed off the roof. Mahakumbh has all the ingredients of a thrilling pot-boiler.

MSG: The Messenger of God fails to get censor board clearance - Guru Ram Rahim Singh.
According to reports, A number of board's examining committee members have taken exception to Ram Rahim Singh, depicting himself as god in the film.
the board member apparently have objections to Ram Rahim being shown to be performing miracles and curing terminal diseases.
Mumbai tabloid Mid-Day quoted a committee member as saying, "The godman has showed himself as god and the film looks more of an advertisement. Besides, some scenes show miracles taking place which are not substantiated by logic."
The film which is slated for Jan 16 release, has now been referred to the board's revising committee which will watch the film and give its opinion.
Meanwhile, the spokesperson for the film Aditya Insaan has clarified that the film doesn't depict Ram Rahim Singh as God in any way.
"In the promo, he clearly mentions that he is a normal human being. He is the hero of the film and does what other heroes do - fight evils of the society. We are now awaiting the revising panel's decision," he said.
MSG: The Messenger of God, hit the headlines soon after its trailer was unveiled online for the obvious reason that it had any self styled guru not only starring in commercial film, but also singing, dancing and beating up goons like a Bollywood star. The trailer has got over 2 million views till now.
Ram Rahim Singh claims he made the movie to send his message to the youth and end ills prevailing in the society. The film was completed in 67 days and about 13 lakh people have acted in the movie.

Barely three weeks ago, Karan officially announced about having separated from Jennifer while dodging questions on his link-up with his Alone co-star Bipasha Basu.
Another source says, "Jennifer also attended a party after Mahakumbh's first episode was screened. She stayed close to him and they both seemed very comfortable in each other's company."
Gautam denies the buzz, saying "It is not true. We are friends and that's all about it." Jennifer, too, debunks the more-than-friends buzz. "This is the most preposterous thing that I have heard. I was present at 'Mahakhumb' launch party, courtesy the producer's (Arvind Babbal) invitation," was her reply.

Hera Pheri 3 starring John Abraham and Abhishek Bachchan
Your favourite comedy movie series, Hera Pheri is back with a
bang. The Dostana duo team up for the third Hera Pheri film, Suniel
Shetty, Paresh Rawal and Irrfan Khan join in but not Akshay Kumar.
Adding further masala to the story, “Both John and Abhishek go by the
name Raju. One is Raju Khabri and the other is Raju Duplicate.Irrfan
Khan plays the role of a lovable don. Paresh (Rawal) and Suniel (Shetty)
will return as Baburao Ganpatrao Apte and Shyam respectively,”
according to sources.
The shoot of the movie is set to start in June of this year and the film will be extensively shot in Mumbai, Dubai and Las Vegas. Confirming the same, director Neeraj Vora said, “The essence of the first two films will be retained but the plot is completely new. Hera Pheri 3 will start from the point where the second film ended – the part where the boys are left hanging.”
When asked about Akshay Kumar’s absence in the film, the director told that the story doesn’t require Akshay to be there for the third part of the humorous sequel. But he guarantees that the funny element of the movie will be substantially higher than the previous Hera Pheri’s.
