Aamir Khan’s Dangal is already roaring HIT even before its release. Just like all time, a special screening has been held for the film and present at the event are Sonakshi Sinha, Aditya Roy Kapur, Yuvraj Singh, Vidya Balan, Ayushmann Khurrana, Bhumi Pednekar, Amit Trivedi and many more. Earlier this week, the 51 year old held several screenings of his film, a biopic on Haryanvi wrestling coach, Mahavir Phogat. On several occasions of movie screenings held, all the celebs have come out of the theatre with nothing but praises for the superstar. Luckily even critics have given the movie a thumbs up and a clear shot hit of 2016.
Need we say more? You all might have seen the transformation video of Khan from flab to fab. If that left you motivated to hit the gym and turn into a healthy chap like Khan here then Dangal is surely going to lift your spirits. The film talks highly of women empowerment in the most real form. It is a biopic after all. Biopic of a father, who turns his dreams of bringing home a gold medal into a reality with the help of his daughters, Geeta and Babita. Present at today’s screening with the Khamosh duo, Sonakshi Sinha and Shatrugan Sinha, Aditya Roy Kapur, Yuvraj Singh, Angad Bedi, Vidya Balan, Bhumi Pednekar, Ayushmann Khurrana, Kriti Sanon, Yami Gautam, Juhi Chawla, Neha Dhupia, Amit Trivedi and others. Set to release in the Christmas weekend, clearly, Aamir Khan’s Dangal is definitely going to be a big hit. Like every year, Khan has always dominated the December month with his film. In fact, a lot of filmmakers dare not clash with his films as they know they’re in for a loss. Dangal is having a solo release, which puts more pressure on its box office. Already, as we hear, the US numbers are in and it is rocking! A total of above Rs 2 crore has been minted in the pre release screening despite only 29 screens! This means good news for the filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari as well as the cast of Dangal. However, the opening day numbers will determine whether it becomes the year’s biggest first day grosser. The film is releasing in South dubs as well.
