Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 10 opens at the TRP of 2.6

Bigg Boss 10 has kept us hooked to the television and the internet for more gossip and scoop on the show. The Celebrities v/s Commoners concept seems to be doing only okay for the show. A spokesperson from ColorsTV told us that the much-awaited reality show opened at a TRP of 2.6 is gets a TRP pf 1.3 weekly. The tenth instalment of the show hosted by Salman Khan is doing better than it did the last season.  The last season, Bigg Boss: Double Trouble opened at 2.4 which was considered to be the worst season in the history of Bigg Boss. Making real-life couples, Kishwer Merchant-Suyyash Rai and Rochelle Rao-Keith Sequeira participate in the show along with Mandana Karimi and Nora Fatehi’s hotness did not help the show much.
This time, however, the commoners v/s celebrities concept has improved the ratings of the show. The drama in this reality started from the first day itself. And by drama, we mean fights, arguments and misunderstandings that usually happen much later in the show. We’re hoping to see Bigg Boss 10 in the Top 10 shows’ list with all the drama and chaos happening in the house currently. Manoj Punjabi, Om Swami, Manveer Gurjar, Nitibha Kaul, Navin Prakash, Lokesh Kumari Sharma, Akansha Sharma and Priyanka Jagga (who is now evicted from the Bigg Boss house) are the non-celebrities in the house and Gaurav Chopra, Rahul Dev, Bani J, Karan Mehra, Rohan Mehra, Antara Biswas aka Monalisa and Lopamudra Raut are the Celebs team.
While there are lots of fights (verbal and physical) and arguments in the show, there is also a lot of bromance and romance brewing in the house. But most of the times, you only get to see the contestants fight than have a decent conversation. But there’s also Swamiji who keeps making mind-blowing revelations about himself like walking on water, saving India from a missile attack using his tantrik powers, making a biopic on his life and so on.
With Bigg Boss 10’s ratings being better than it’s previous instalment, do you think the show will go back to being one of the most watched shows in India? Bigg Boss 4 is so far the highest TRP grosser in the history of Bigg Boss and this was the season which saw Salman Khan enter as the host.
