The actress is all set to make her BIG Hollywood debut next year…

Deepika Padukone has already won our hearts with some fabulous acts in various films over the past few years. Not only is she beautiful, but extremely talented too! This along with her great run at the box office has made her a top star. And like every top Bollywood actor, she has been offered a few Hollywood films over her career.A few years back, she was offered a small part in Vin Diesel‘s Furious 7 (Fast & Furious 7), but with just a limited role, she declined it. However, she was offered a very lucrative part in another Vin Diesel film – xXx: Return of Xander Cage, which she couldn’t say no to! Not only was her part important, she would also be the face for the film in India! So, the actress accepted the part, flew to Ontario (Canada) and began the shoot…
Deepika stayed in a new place surrounded by new people for nearly half a year but she realised something that you will totally agree with! Yes, you will… The actress realised that Hollywood and Bollywood isn’t that different, in fact Hindi cinema has progressed so much that our style of work is nearly similar to the West. Don’t you agree too?
The actress hosted a Facebook chat today and while talking about what she learnt while shooting for xXx: Return of Xander Cage, Deepika revealed, “One was the professional part of working in a new environment. I was nervous to work with a new team in a new setup, but I think I appreciate how advanced they are in terms of technicality. Other than that there were so many similarities I feel that it is a huge reflection on of how much Indian cinema has progressed. On a personal level I was alone so I enjoyed doing all the chores like cooking, cleaning, grocery shopping etc.”

Ain’t her answer perfect? The actress even told us which super power she desires. Though it is something that you wouldn’t have expected, her reply was really thought provocative. Deepika mentioned, “If I could be a vacuum cleaner and suck out all the dirt, when I see litter it really bothers me. Sometimes I wish there was one huge machine and suck up all the dirt and make everything clean and tidy.”
Ain’t that cool? Anyway, Deepika’s xXx: Return of Xander Cage releases on January 20 and the makers are planning a huge promotional campaign in India with Deepika and Vin. Deepika plays the role of a huntress, Serena Unger, who will be an important part of Vin’s team in the movie.

Deepika is currently in Mumbai and will start shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati in a few days. The actress will be playing the role of Rani Padmavati in the film. Shahid Kapoor will play his husband – Raja Raval Ratan Singh, while Ranveer Singh will play Aluaddin Khilji who falls in love with Deepika and wages a war against her husband to win her!
