Salman Khan celebrated his 51st birthday with close friends and family at his Panvel farmhouse. Present at the party were his friends from Bollywood like Preity Zinta, Sushant Singh Rajput, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Mouni Roy etc. Apart from that Shah Rukh Khan was expected to make his presence felt but it did not happen. Also present in the party was Salman Khan’s alleged girlfriend Iulia Vantur. On the same day Salman Khan launched his personalised app BeingInTouch that brought bhai closer to his fans.
# Shah Rukh Khan and Akshay Kumar’s message ahead of New Year
First Shah Rukh Khan in his Raees avatar asked fans to not drink and drive. He shared a video where he said, “Hmm.. party ka mahol hai.. khoob party karo..majnu banke laila ke sath nacho, lekin sharaab peeke gaadi mat chalana (It’s time to party.. go ahead, party hard with your lover but don’t drink and drive)”. Like a very responsible human being, Shah Rukh just shared a very important message through this video for everyone out there who is gonna be out partying on New Year’s. On the other hand Akshay Kumar too shared a video where he in his Jolly LLB mode, however unlike Shah Rukh Khan his was only voiceover which said, “Sab Jaante Hain Kanoon Ke Hath Lambe Hote Hain, Phir Bhi Pange Lete Hain Lekin Is Saal Mat Lena, Celebration Jamm Ke Karna, Lekin Bhool Ke Bhi Don’t Drink And Drive, Nahin Toh Suna Hai Na, Kanoon Ke Haath Lambe Hote Hain…”

# Virat-Anushka engagement rumours
There were strong rumours of Anushka Sharma getting engaged to Virat Kohli on January 1, 2017. They were also spotted spending time in Dehradun. But later Anushka’s spokesperson refuted the rumours and Virat Kohli too took to Twitter and quashed all claims in two tweets. He said, “” we aren’t getting engaged & if we were going to,we wouldn’t hide it. Simple… (1/2)” continued it with, “(2/2)Since news channels cant resist selling false rumours & keeping you confused, we are just ending the confusion :)” Anushka Sharma too endorsed the two tweet by retweeting them.
# xXx: Return Of Xander Cage release preponed
xXx: Return Of Xander Cage is gonna release in India a week before its US release. The film which was supposed to release on January 20, 2017 will now hit theatres on January 14. The film will now have a clash of sorts with Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor’s OK Jaanu which releases on January 13. The film will have huge competition from the second day of its release from Deepika Padukone’s xXx: Return of Xander Cage. But come to think of it, the real reason for preponing the release date may be the fact that on January 25, 2017, just five days later, two of the biggest Bollywood films – Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees and Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil are to hit theatres.
# Kareena Kapoor Khan appearance post delivery
Kareena Kapoor Khan was spotted dining with her husband Saif Ali Khan however, baby Taimur Ali Khan was missing from the scene. This was Kareena’s first public appearance post delivery. Also if reports are to be believed Kareena and Saif will be ringing in their first New Year’s with baby Taimur at their Bandra apartment. The couple will be flying to Europe for Taimur’s first vacation in February, next year as Saif will resume shooting for his film Chef in Europe while Bebo and her little one will enjoy a quick getaway.
