Tamannaah Bhatia at her natural best.
Tamannaah Bhatia,
one of the most sought after South actors of today. She has been part
of the biggest hits and flops and along the way has carved a niche for
herself. Right from de-glam characters to double roles to even playing
warriors, the actress can do it all. She had recently also come together
with Ranveer Singh for a leading brand to shoot a quirky ad. The
actress is trying her hand at everything. Recently she was spotted in
Bombay after a certain rehearsal, and guess what she was her natural
self sans makeup. Dressed in a white tee and grey leggings, she looked
super comfortable in her casual look. Even sans make up she looked
stunning and if you notice, she looked really happy. Well, she has every
reason to be, she won the Best Actress Award at the Asia Visions 2016
for her performance in Dharma Durai, and she has been signed for the
Tamil remake of Queen! Yes, the movie will be directed by Revathy and
will be written by Suhasini Mani Ratnam. Tamannaah is particularly
excited about this project.
“Ever since I saw ‘Queen’, I wanted to be part of its remake, even though I wasn’t sure if it will be remade. What makes ‘Queen’ special is that it’s one of those rare women-centric films which succeeded in reaching out to everybody, across all sections of the audience,” revealed the actress to IANS. ” “I felt liberated when I saw ‘Queen’, and I can’t wait to start working on the remake. The fact that Revathi ma’am is directing it makes it even more special because she was the inspiration for my character in ‘Devi’,” More than a remake, this will be treated as an adaptation as a lot of things have to be changed to suit Tamil sensibilities”, she further revealed. This is going to be fun project, we can tell! There is a buzz that Amala Paul has been roped in for the Malayalam version of Queen but it hasn’t been confirmed so far. Also there are reports that state that Amy Jackson will be playing Lisa Haydon’s part in the movie, but the 2.0 actress is yet to give her nod.
Apart form this Tamanaah Bhatia will be part of Simbu’s AAA. this si the first time she has teamed up with Simbu, who plays a triple role. She will be romancing one of her characters. One of her movies – Kaththi Sandai opposite that was to release in November will now release in January around Pongal.
