Deepika or Priyanka? Here’s who Sonam thinks is a better actress
Now we all know how there have been constant comparisons drawn between Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra given that they are the only two Bollywood hotties taking over Hollywood right now. In fact superstars like Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan too have commented on what they feel about PC and DP’s Hollywood breaks without really saying who are they rooting for. But guess Sonam has it clear in her head that it’s definitely Priyanka over Deepika. I mean, not that she hates Deepika or does she? But in her candid chat with Neha Dhupia on #NoFilterNeha, Sonam literally snubbed Deepika when asked who is a better actress – Deepika or Priyanka? Yes! This happened.
As soon as Neha gave her to choose between Priyanka and Deepika, she quickly prompted saying, “Priyanka is a better actress…I like everything she does.” Ahem! Considering Sonam had even taken a dig at Deepika’s fashion sense on Koffee With Karan a few years back, we really wonder if things are still sour between the two.
Nevertheless, Neha’s No Filter session is meant to be this candid and bitchy. In fact had Sonam not been this straightforward, it would have really worried us. Talking about the other things that she spilled on the podcast, we have her say on Karan Johar where she called him FAKE. Yea, she said that. And also, she tagged Ranbir Kapoor as the gossip girl stating, “He’s shareef that way but he loves gossiping.”
Let’s see if these quotes get Sonam into trouble or what? Interestingly, Sonam just tweeted worrying the consequences as she wrote, “My quotes on @NehaDhupia s show have been taken out of context and made into provocative news items.. very disheartened and appalled. To make good copy or publicity things are taken to such a depraved level.I always stand by what I say,and this is def taken out of context!” Oops!
