Ridhi Dogra replaces Vindhya Tiwari in Zee TV’s next

Vindhya Tiwary's loss is Ridhi Dogra's gain as the latter bags a role in Sidharth Malhotra's next for Zee TV

Actress Ridhi Dogra who has been missing from a full-fledged role on TV for some time now is all set to make a comeback with producer Sidharth Malhotra’s next for ZEE TV. The show also stars Ssudeep Sahir and Disha Parmar of Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara fame. Inspired by the film, We Are Family (2010), it is about a man and his wife/girlfriend. Ridhi is going to replace Vindhya Tiwary who was apparently the original choice for the role. This was due to a date clash and also because the channel was slightly apprehensive about having Ridhi for the role.
Ridhi will be coming back to daily soaps with this show. The channel had shot a promo with Vindhya but now a new one will be filmed with Ridhi. Prior to this, Ridhi was seen on Savitri, Khatron Ke Khiladi and a cameo in Diya Aur Baati Hum. In a statement, Vindhya also confirmed that she is not a part of the show. She said, “Yes,   I am not doing the show anymore. I always was in talks regarding my dates with the production. I need to be travelling abroad in January. Having said this, I have a good rapport with the channel and also the production. I hope to work with them in the near future. I believe all that happens is for good.”
Incidentally, Ridhi and Vindhya were together recently in Langkawi for the annual Telly Calendar shoot. Vindhya’s latest notable role was that of Chandramani on Sasural Simar Ka. Stay tuned to Bollywood Life for more updates…
