Rajinikanth and Shah Rukh Khan are bonding on Twitter like never before. It’s one of the most delightful moments for their fans. Well it’s Thalaivaa birthday today and the entire nation is showering wishes to the superstar. Shah Rukh Khan too wished the legend in the most stylish way. He shared his film Chennai Express song Thalaivaa picture and captioned, “2 the coolest & greatest of em all. Wishing u health happiness & years of entertainment for us.Happy B’Day Thalaivaa”.  To everyone’ s surprise, Rajinikanth noticed SRK’s tweet and thanked him in the most humble way possible, “Thank you Shah Rukh ji for your warm wishes …. god bless”. It’s rare to see superstars bond, but today is a special day. Rajini is undoubtedly one of the most loved superstars and his birthday is celebrated like a festival.

 However this year the actor is not celebrating his 66th birthday and even requested his fans to not bring in the celebration to respect former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa’s untimely death. The actor thanked everyone for wishing him on his birthday. He wrote, “To all my fans, well wishers, media & friends from the film fraternity…. many thanks for your warm wishes”.
On the professional front, Rajinikanth is busy with his next titled 2.0. This sci-fi film is the successor to Enthiran – the Robot. While certain elements will repeat in 2.0, the story is brand new. Rajinikanth plays another character apart from Chitti and Dr Vaseegaran and we eagerly waiting to find out what it is. Another big highlight of this film is baddie which will be played by Akshay Kumar. He plays the terrifying Dr Richards who turns into a crow as a result of an experiment. Reportedly he’s an ornithologist in the film. Amy Jackson too has been roped in to play the female lead. On 20 November, the 2.0’s first official poster was launched in a grand event in Mumbai. Also Salman Khan surprised everyone by making his presence at the event. In fact Salman and Rajinikanth bonded big time and they both confessed to work with each other soon.
