Rana Daggubati turns a HOT naval captain in his first look of Ghazi – view pic
Ghazi starring Rana Daggubati will hit theatres on 17th February 2017.
Before Baahubali, Rana Daggubati will
be seen in another anticipated movie – Ghazi. It’s a submarine war
based film, the first of its kind. It’s based on the mysterious yet true
events that happened in 1971, before the war broke out. Major parts of
the film have been shot in a submarine. Recently the first look poster
of Ghazi was out and it received a phenomenal response. The dark
underwater theme reflected the tone of the movie perfectly. everyone on
social was going gaga over it. And now Rana Daggubati’s first look from
Ghazi is out. Gone is the ruthless Bhallaladeva avatar we have been
seeing for a while, enter Rana Daggubati the hot naval officer. HOT
DAMN. The intense look in his eyes adds to his character. After a
splendid poster and first look, we are now eagerly awaiting the film’s
release.
The film also stars Taapsee Pannu, Kay Kay Menon, Atul Kulkarni. Taapsee reportedly plays a refugee. Here’s what Rana and the team had to prep for while shooting for Ghazi – “We built two large submarines in Hyderabad and we shot in two languages, Hindi and Telugu. It’s based on true events that happened in 1971 before the war broke out in India. So it’s one of those conspiracy tales that wasn’t told and when we heard it, We thought it was a very important story to tell. And it happened on the coast of Vizag, which is a place where I grew up in my childhood, where I know of very well. It was rather difficult in terms of sitting inside a submarine and shooting for it. Inside a submarine you lose track of time, daylight (which we didn’t figure when we got in), but we are very excited.
The film is all set for a February 17th 2017 release. From what reports suggest, it might clash with another Telugu movie – Winner. The film stars Sai Dharam Tej and Rakul Preet Singh.
