Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra have been finalised to be part of Aashiqui 3 which should make all you fans get delirious with excitement. Why?
When was the last time they were left to romance alone in a film? Yes,
Alia and Sidharth will not have any disturbance in the form of another
love interest in this film and thank God for that
Now if you go through their filmography, Alia and Sidharth romanced each other twice on screen. Once when they debuted together with Student Of The Year and second, when she became part of brothers’ tale in Kapoor & Sons. In both the cases, there was a third wheel in their relationship. In SOTY, she was first Varun Dhawan’s girlfriend who unwillingly falls for his buddy Sidharth. Her chemistry with the Malhotra lad was really hot.
Later when they came together for Kapoor & Sons, there was Fawad Khan to take away all the attention. Yes we know he his enormously hot but it’s the story that didn’t do justice to Sid-Alia’s chemistry. Their scenes were far too less. So clearly, everytime they came together, they left us wanting for more. We blame it on the directors who couldn’t spot the potential in this jodi. But worry no more, Aashiqui 3 will answer all your prayers.
If we look at the franchise so far, it has mostly been a musical romantic film, full of passion, emotion and heartbreak. Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur’s chemistry was electrifying even though they were a fresh pairing in it. Alia and Sidharth have already established their sizzling chemistry in two earlier films and so, they will be perfect for the third film in the franchise.
Apart from that, Mohit Suri is known for making heartwrenching love stories and Aashiqui 2 was a big example of that. Aditya’s suicide at the end broke Shraddha’s heart into pieces in the second film and we all shed a tear or two with her. We are pretty sure Mohit will create such intense moments between the two as well. Alia anyway is a superb actress and coupled with Sid’s raw charm, Aashiqui 3 will be one film we will be rooting for in the coming year. Ah…can this film release already?
