Yeh Vaada Raha actress Roshni Walia to make her film debut with Kapil Sharma’s Firang
Roshni Walia, who has been a part of popular TV shows like Bharat Ka Veer Putra- Maharana Paratap and Yeh Vaada Raha, has reportedly bagged a role in Kapil Sharma‘s upcoming film Firang. This will mark her debut in Hindi films. If reports are to be believed then Kapil Sharma will be seen romancing Drishyam fame Ishita Dutta (who is Tanushree Dutta’s younger sister) in the film. It’s being said that Roshni has been roped in to play Ishita’s younger sister.
Earlier there were talks that South actress Tamannah Bhatia has been finalised for the film but no confirmation come on that later. The film,which is said to be a period comedy, is being directed by Kapil’s friend Rajiv Dhingra. Dhingra has earlier made Punjabi film Love Punjab. Kapil was briefed about the idea of the film and he instantly liked it. So much that he said yes to it immediately. Previously, there were reports that Kapil was in advanced talks with Queen director Vikas Bahl for a movie. However, with the latest news of Kapil having started shooting for Firang with Dhingra, it seems that the movie with Bahl has been put on hold.
Firang is currently being shot in Punjab and the cast will later move to Rajasthan to shoot its second schedule. We hear that Kapil and the team of The Kapil Sharma Show worked day and night to complete the episodes before Firang’s shooting started.
