Vaani Kapoor, Urvashi Rautela make it to Google’s top searched list while Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif SNUBBED

Disha Patani, Sushant Singh Rajput, Urvashi Rautela, Kabir Bedi top the charts as top trending actors and actresses this year on Google! The website’s India team, released the 2016 recap of trending names of celebs and Deepika Padukone or Katrina Kaif have not even made it to the top ten. Can you believe that? In fact, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Hrithik Roshan too
haven’t made it to the list. The list is a little shocking for the kind
of names it has and the royal snub Google’s most trending celeb’s list
has given to some of Bollywood’s biggies. Heck, even Sunny Leone’s
search has dropped as she too hasn’t made it to the top ten!
Sushant Singh Rajput’s breakup with Ankita Lokhande, his growing closeness with Kriti Sanon and his hit biopic, MS Dhoni – The Untold Story, has resulted in him gaining the topmost position in the searched list. Other names, however, are a little surprising as we have Kabir Bedi (because of a controversial marriage), Harshvardhan Kapoor, Pulkit Samrat (obviously for his split with wife Shweta Rohira and involvement with Yami Gautam) and then Salman Khan. Basically there is only one Khan on the list and that too in the fifth position.
In women, there is a bigger surprise. The top position has been taken by Disha Patani. Her debut in MS Dhoni – The Untold Story, surely has created a lot of buzz for her. Not far behind is Urvashi Rautela, Pooja Hegde (who made her debut in Mohenjo Daro), Mandana Karimi (courtesy Bigg Boss 9) and Urmila Matondkar (because of her hush hush wedding). Clearly, the ones who married in a hush hush manner have been most searched (Kabir Bedi and Urmila Matondkar). Funny that some of the biggest newsmakers, Katrina Kaif (with her films and breakup with Ranbir Kapoor), Deepika Padukone (with her Hollywood debut and lot of fashion faux pas) and Priyanka Chopra (for a lot of Hollywood acclaims), have been snubbed by Google!
The list actually says it all. Despite making headlines, the A-Listers have been ignored but the lesser known celebs have trended more on Google.
