Rajinikanth and Salman Khan are two of the BIGGEST superstars in India. When both of these stars met each other at the 2.o first look launch, everyone was in awe of them.
The duo greeted each other and Salman even mentioned that he is a big
fan of Thalaiva. And while they are not direct competitors, Salman’s
film has BEATEN Rajinikanth’s film in the Google trends list. Yes,
Google India released the 2016 list of trending stories which included
the biggest moments, major events and user interests based on the
trillions of searches made by Indians. And in the list of top trending
movies, Rajinikanth’s Kabali has failed to beat Salman Khan’s Sultan.
In fact, if you see the list you will be surprised to see that none of Shah Rukh Khan‘s films (Fan and Dear Zindagi) have made it into the top 10. Apart from that, all the three films featuring Akshay Kumar (Airlift, Rustom and Housefull 3) have made it to the top 10 trending movies. Check out the top 10 trending movies on Google right here:
Earlier Rajinikanth’s Kabali could not beat the collections of Salman Khan’s Sultan and now, Kabali has not been able to beat Sultan in the most searched film of 2016 list either. But these films have made it to the top 5 trending search category. A really cool achievement!
Apart from films, Sushant Singh Rajput, Salman Khan and Ranveer Singh also made it to the top 10 trending Bollywood actor (Male) category. Disha Patani, Urvashi Rautela, Vaani Kapoor and Pooja Hegde were amongst the top searched Bollywood actor (Female) list this year. Salman Khan and Rajinikanth were seen together at the first look launch of 2.0
Salman gatecrashed the event to meet Rajinikanth. Seems like the actor couldn't control himself when he heard that Rajini Sir was nearby.
