...if ever a biopic on Yogi Adityanath is made

...if ever a biopic on Yogi Adityanath is made

Hindu hardliner Yogi Adityanath, infamous for his controversial statements against Muslims, has been picked as the new Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh by the BJP. While some have come out in support of the decision, there are others who have slammed the party for choosing an “extremist” leader to head the state of Uttar Pradesh. While we refrain from sharing our opinion there, we do feel that Adityanath is an interesting man. You can love him, you can hate him but you cannot ignore him. Known for his adamant stance on various issues, Adityanath is an ultimate crowd-puller. And this makes us wonder if someone from Bollywood can play him in his biopic if it is ever made. Well, we have picked four actors from the B-town who we think have the potential to bring Yogi Adityanath alive on screen. Check them out on succeeding slides...  Ranveer Singh can play Yogi Adityanath with ease

Ranveer Singh can play Yogi Adityanath with ease

Ranveer Singh is one brilliant actor and we got to know about that right from his debut film ‘Band Baaja Baaraat.’ In a career spanning almost six years, Ranveer might have had his share of hits and flops but never has he been criticized for his acting skills. With his terrific performance in ‘Bajirao Mastani,’ Ranveer proved that he also has a knack for playing characters that belong to a world far removed from him. A bald head, preparation of a few days and thorough research on Yogi Adityanath – that’s all Ranveer would need to authentically play the UP CM on screen. • Arjun Rampal has a knack for playing politicians

Arjun Rampal has a knack for playing politicians

Arjun Rampal is another ace actor from Bollywood who we feel can get into the skin of Yogi Adityanath to effectively portray him on the silver screen. Having played a politician in films such as ‘Rajneeti’ and ‘Daddy’ (to be released), we feel Arjun now completely understands the nuances of a politician and can be the perfect choice to play Adityanath in his biopic. Over and above, Arjun’s deep bass voice will add to the drama. (Note: Pictures for representational purpose only)
‘Angry young man’ Abhishek Bachchan is the perfect choice for the Yogi Adityanath biopic

‘Angry young man’ Abhishek Bachchan is the perfect choice for the Yogi Adityanath biopic

It’s been a long time since we last saw Abhishek Bachchan playing a role that matches up to his acting prowess. The actor, who was last seen in ‘Housefull 3,’ hasn’t done anything substantial for years now as far as his film career is concerned. If a biopic on Yogi Adityanath is made, we feel Abhishek is another actor who can do complete justice to the character. We have seen Junior Bachchan playing an angry young man in ‘Guru’ with excellence. In the Yogi Adityanath biopic, Abhishek will get ample opportunity to put this quality of his to use. Manoj Bajpayee can pull off a Yogi Adityanath to perfection

Manoj Bajpayee can pull off a Yogi Adityanath to perfection

Manoj Bajpayee is a gifted actor who can fit into almost any character. With many a performance in his glorious 20-year old career, Manoj has made audiences sit up, take notice of him and leave them stunned with his sheer acting talent. The actor’s filmography is anything but mainstream; because for him, it has always been about choosing the right scripts and investing his heart and soul into characters. If Manoj is given a chance to play Yogi Adityanath on screen, we are certain that he will pull it off to perfection. (Note: Pictures for representational purpose only)
