Kriti Sanon REACTS to reports of her dirty dancing with Sushant Singh Rajput at Manish Malhotra’s birthday bash
Kriti Sanon comes out clean on gossip about her dirty dancing at Manish Malhotra's 50th birthday bash in a leading tabloid
Rumour mills have been abuzz from some months now that Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon
are a couple. They all started off from the sets of Raabta, where the
two were apparently so close that they ate off each other’s plates. From
dinners to movie dates, gossip suggests that duo is painting the town
red. The height was when reports came out that the two were dirty
dancing at Manish Malhotra’s 50th birthday bash. In an interview to
Mumbai Mirror, the girl decided to clarify on the tales.
When questioned if she was seeing Sushant, the lady replied in negative. Kriti has maintained that they are just good friends right from the start. She also said that coming from a non-industry background, it took time for her to adjust to the rumour-mongering that is a part of Bollywood. “No, I am not. Rumors are a part of this industry and being an outsider, you realise that much later,” she said.

Kriti also did not shy away from talking about the infamous video
of the two dirty-dancing. She stated, “Apparently somebody has even
posted a video, please check that out. It has me whispering some thing
in his ears and that’s about it. If that’s called dirty dancing then
your definition of the term is completely wrong.” As we know, reports
said that Kriti and Sushant were also inseparable from each other at
party.
However, Kriti had words of praise for Sushant. The actor has won a
couple of Best Actor Awards for his spectacular performance as Dhoni in
Neeraj Pandey’s MS Dhoni – The Untold Story. In the interview, she
reiterated that he was a “really good friend” and an intelligent actor.
Kriti also had some nice things to say about Sushant’s process of
getting into a role. She said, “Over time, I have realised that it’s
important to have a really good actor in front of you because then your
scenes become much better. There are really good actors and then there
are very few who do their homework well. Sushant’s process is very
different from mine and that makes it interesting. He’s not from a filmi
background either so there’s that common ground between us too.”
Incidentally, Sushant and Kriti have some things in common. Both
have spend the greater part of their lives in Delhi. Both have studied
in similar fields. Sushant was an engineering student while she holds a
degree in Electronics and Communication. While it is very much possible
that the two are just buddies, one always maintains there is no smoke
without fire? Stay tuned to Bollywood Life for more updates…
