Oh No! Kangana Ranaut meets with a road accident while shooting for Simran

Kangana Ranaut has begun shooting for Hansal Mehta’s new movie, Simran in US for a week from now. However the shoot of the film has got on to an inauspicious start as Kangana Ranaut
and a few of her team members met with an accident, while returning
from the sets after the shoot. Before you gasp in shock, let us you tell
now only that Kangana Ranaut has miraculously escaped from the the
accident unhurt. Phew! The accident happened somewhere outside Georgia
in US, as Kangana was returning to her hotel in Atlanta. As per a report
in HT, an insider gave them details about the incident. He said , “A
local driver was behind the wheel and was driving in the leftmost lane
(meant for fast-moving traffic) on highway 381. Suddenly, he started
coughing profusely and then blacked out while on the move.” He later
revealed that when the driver blacked out, Kangana’s bodyguard who was
sitting next to him, tried to control the steering and keep the vehicle
on the road. However the position that he was in, he was unable to do so
in the right manners, and the car veered off to the left, jumping three
highway lanes before crashing into an iron fence. The local police
reached the spot within minutes and gave everyone proper aid.
The insider continued, “Everyone was scared at that point. But luckily, none of them got hurt. Kangana had a few minor scratches on her elbows and her forehead that bled a little, but nothing major happened. Similarly, Kangana’s team members also suffered a few minor injuries. Later, the film’s makers ensured that Kangana and the others went to the hospital for checkups to ensure no one suffered from any internal injuries.”
Even though she was injured herself, Kangana made sure that everyone in the car was taken care off. She also resumed shooting for Simran from the next day itself as if the accident never happened at all. Kangana Ranaut was not available to give her take on the incident, however Shailesh R Singh, the producer of Simran, confirmed the news to HT. He said, “It was a narrow escape. It’s a miracle that they had no injuries. Kangana is a brave girl. She refused to take a break and has resumed the shoot.”
Kangana is once again set to repeat her acting prowess with Simran by playing the unconventional character of a 30-year old divorcee. She will be shown dealing with issues faced by divorcees.
