Malaika Arora Khan and Arbaaz Khan are NOT heading for a divorce
Happy ending for Malaika Arora Khan and Arbaaz Khan?
It’s been over a year since we have been getting to hear Malaika Arora Khan and Arbaaz Khan’s divorce rumours. It all began last year when the duo went on to make an official announcement that they had parted ways. Malaika and Arbaaz have even been living separately since a year now. They were last spotted at the Karvwa Chauth dinner last week when Malaika and Arbaaz along with their family were seen heading out of a suburban restaurant in Mumbai. Malaika, however, headed to her car and left separately. and now, the latest we get to hear is that Malaika and Arbaaz are NOT heading for a split. Yes, you read that right. Malaika and Arbaaz fans can now breathe a sigh of relief as the couple has dropped the idea of heading for a divorce. Although they have both been denying all such rumours of split, grapevine was abuzz that Malaika and Arbaaz were going to file a divorce by the end of this year.
Both Malaika and Arbaaz had consulted with esteemed lawyer of the family court Kranti Sathe. The two were expected to file the papers post Diwali, reports Mumbai Mirror. But, that’s not happening anytime soon. The report states that the duo has scraped their divorce plan. Wondering what could the reason be? It is learnt that Malaika and Arbaaz, who have been married for over 18 years now, have succumbed to family pressure and are not getting divorced anytime soon.
For all the ignorant, Arbaaz and Malaika had issued a joint statement about their separation earlier this year stating, “The truth is, we have taken a break, but that doesn’t mean people can presume, assume and speculate things of such malicious nature. We are taking out time to figure out our lives… Yes, it’s true that we are separated, but where our lives go and what transpires between us, it is for us to decide. Wherever it goes from here, we will talk about it when we are ready to.”
Does this call for a happy ending for the couple? Will they give marriage another chance or will they continue to live separately? Let’s see what happens next.
