After facing a lot of protests, the makers of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Raees have given clear instructions to Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan against giving any kind of interviews to the media. Here are all the details...
Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan
have been under fire since the past few weeks. Both Fawad and Mahira
along with the other Pakistani artistes have been banned from working in
India by IMPPA (Indian Motion Pictures Producers’ Association) in the
wake of the devastating Uri attacks. The
industry wanted to show its support to the Indian government and hence
the ban was imposed on them. But that wasn’t the end of things for them.

were slammed by various journalists, people and even political parties
for failing to condemn the attacks. Questions about why they did not
speak up about the attacks were raised and even though Fawad and Mahira
later went on to share posts condemning the attack, the situation looks
messy currently.
In fact, reports suggested that the Cinema Owners and Exhibitors Association have decided that they will NOT screen any film with Pakistani artists, not even in single screens. There won’t be any exception in this case and this boycott will be applicable on ALL films that have Pakistani actors, musicians, technicians irrespective of whether they have been shot or are being shot! Even political parties like Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) had threatened to disrupt the release of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Raees. However, after discussions with the state government and Karan Johar, they have struck a deal. However, looks like the makers of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Raees have given out special instructions to Fawad, Imran Abbas Naqvi (he is also a part of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil) and Mahira Khan. But what are these special instructions?
Our source EXCLUSIVELY reveals to us, “The makers of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Raees have banned Fawad, Imran and Mahira from giving any interviews. All the three stars have been given clear instructions that everywhere they go, they will be asked about the issue (the ban on Pakistani artistes in India) but they should avoid it. In fact, the makers have told them not to interact with the media because they don’t want their (Fawad or Mahira’s) view be misconstrued, which could spoil things further.”
