Shah Rukh Khan and wife Gauri Khan to ring in their 25th wedding anniversary in Spain

Shah Rukh Khan has something special planned for his wife Gauri Khan to ring in their 25th wedding anniversary today.

It was just yesterday when we reported you guys about Shah Rukh Khan and his wife Gauri Khan ringing in their 25th wedding anniversary. It was on this day in year 1991, when the couple tied the know and established this beautiful institution called marriage. So since a silver jubilee is a big reason to celebrate, there is no denial that King Khan will have his special plans for this big day. We earlier told you guys that SRK plans to come back in his home city and celebrate the anniversary with wife Gauri at his home, Mannat. However there is a slight change in this plan. Not Shah Rukh but in fact Gauri will be flying down to his sets in Europe to accompany her hubby and spend some quality with him.
As per reports in a leading tabloid, Shah Rukh and wife Gauri are set to ring in their 25th wedding anniversary today in the Spanish countryside with their three-year-old-son AbRam. SRK who’s currently shooting for Imtiaz Ali’s The Ring in Europe was joined by her in Lisbon. Anushka Sharma who’s part of the movie as well has wrapped her schedule, however SRK will continue shooting for it till this month end.  As per the sources, a small bash has been planned on the sets for SRK and Gauri. The unit and a few friends will party with the couple after pack up. A wedding cake has been ordered and there will be live musicians to bring in the special day. How we wish, we were able to see this couple celebrate such an important day of their life! 
So if you’re wondering if Shah Rukh will give his Diwali party a miss this time then  you are mistaken. Both SRK and his wife are planning to host a grand party combining these two ocassions. The Raees star is returning by month end, post which they are planning to organise a grand bash for their close friends.
The actor has always stated that their marriage faced a lot of opposition from her family’s side. Even when everything was sorted, there was a major problem waiting for the couple on their D day.
A leading tabloid reports, in an interaction in 2010, SRK had recalled the pandemonium on his wedding day.“Normally, the dulha comes on the ghoda and isn’t supposed to see his bride till the pheras are over. But the car that was supposed to pick Gauri up after her make-up conked off and panic struck because the muhurat was at a fixed time. So I picked her up, dropped her, went back and returned on a horse. Halfway through, I changed from a horse to an elephant. Climbing the elephant was a problem, and my friends literally pushed me up,“ he’d revealed. Wao! We can imagine Shah Rukh on an elephant looking as royal as a prince.

So as this couple celebrates 25 years of being together today, we would like to congratulate them and wish many such successful years ahead.
