Here's what we can expect from Baahubali 2
On July 10 2015, when SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali hit
the theatres, it became a global phenomenon. Because it’s a film that
changed the face of cinema, all around the world. A historical drama
that took three years of preparation, stunned us in more ways than one.
The fantastical fictional kingdom of Mahishmati, the jaw dropping VFX,
the intense characters, the compelling story and of course the
direction, every aspect was a worth a discussion. Baahubali: The
Beginning not only received immense praise but also made record breaking
collections at the BO. It was a critical, commercial success – best of
both worlds. And now today, because of the first part’s stupendous
success, the buzz around the sequel is huge! It is seen to be believed.
Although the movie is slated for a 2017 release, theatricals rights for all Indian languages are being sold at record prices, distributions rights abroad are being bought at equally whopping amounts. Every update on the movie, every leaked picture is big news. Also, of course as we all know the first part left us with a raging question – why did Katappa Kill Bahaubali? That is also one among the many driving forces behind the excitement. Today we will finally see the first look poster of Baahubali 2, something that we can hold on to until the trailer is out and finally the release. It will be the first ever poster of the most awaited sequel. It will be unveiled at MAMI, at 4 pm today. The main cast – SS Rajamouli, Tamannaah Bhatia, Rana Daggubati, Prabhas will be present. So what can we expect from this first look?
#When the Baahubali 2 logo was recently released, it carried the
tagline – why did Katappa Kill Baahubali, will we catch the first
glimpse of this answer in the look today?
#Considering the first part Baahubali; The beginning showed us the Mahendra Baahubali as a child, will we finally see a glimpse of the royal king, his father – Amarendra Baahubali in this look?
#Devasena was in chains for 25 years and very little about her role has been explained in the first part. May be we will finally see a glimpse of her and Amarender Baahubali’s love story, from where it all began.
#We might just be given a small glimpse of everything – Amarendra Baahubali, Devasena in her younger days and Bhalla Deva’s meaner look.
It could be also none of the above and something totally unexpected. Honestly, we can’t wait! What are your thoughts? What do you think Baahubali 2 first look will be like?
