seriously! Mani Ratnam, we really can’t thank you enough for recreating
2015’s cult classic “OK Kanmani” with Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor’s
Hindi version titled, OK Janu. I mean, wasn’t OK Kanmani the cutest
love story ever? Add to that the cast too was so good looking with
Dulquer Salmaan and Nithya Menon literally spelling romance with their
most adorable chemistry! Trust me, there couldn’t have been a better
film to show a love story that’s so simplistic yet so beautiful. But
having said that, it in itself comes as an added pressure on Aditya and
Shraddha. Will they be able to live up to Dulquer and Nithya’s
chemistry? Will Ok Jaanu be as beautiful as Ok Kanmani? The first
trailer of Ok Jaanu is finally here for you to judge…
Firstly with no doubts, Shraddha and Aditya look madly in love for they already share that kinda comfort level, thanks to Aashiqui 2 and of course, their ‘real life’ Aashiqui. Ahem! That aside, fans too love their chemistry and have been rooting for this reunion ever since the makers announced Adi and Shraddha have been finalised to recreate Ok Kanmani. But one cannot deny that few seconds into the trailer and you’ll get reminded of Dulqeur and Nithya. Probably, coz they’ve set such high standards in terms of romance. Not to forget, the dialogues, the scenes too are exactly similar to OK Kanmani that you’ll be forced to get nostalgic about Dulquer and Nithya. But of course, those who haven’t watched the original are going to love this film to no bounds. Also, the background score leads you into the plot with much love but yet fails to live up to the original
