In an interview to a leading newspaper, Mohit Raina dismissed rumours of marrying Mouni Roy

While it’s know that Mouni Roy and Mohit Raina are dating, there has been constant speculation about their wedding. The couple likes to keep their personal life personal. Barring the rare pictures of them once-in-a-blue moon, one does not spot them together. In an interview to Bombay Times, the introverted Mohit told the publication, “I prefer to keep my personal life separate and don’t want it under media glare. It doesn’t really remain the same if it’s completely out there. I have never even brought my mother or any other family member in front of the camera despite many requests.” Fans will remember that Mohit’s mom along with Mouni were snapped this year at Mumbai’s famous Lalbaugcha Raja celebrations. It was the first time she was seen with his family members in public.
He also opened up on the million dollar question of tying the knot in 2017. He said, “”No, that’s not true. I don’t know where these rumours are coming from. I want to settle down someday, but no one is in a hurry.” It is on the lines of what Mouni has said in many interviews. While the couple might appear a little too secretive at a time when PDA is ruling social media, we understand that keeping matters personal is also very crucial in this challenging industry. The actress told us it was not a calculated decisions but she had learnt from past mistakes
She had told Bollywood Life, “Not really. I learnt my hard lessons. It’s very different when you start working as you lack the understanding of how things function. I am not very guarded about my private space, but then my life is not a reality show. My personal life is my personal business. Nobody has anything to do with it. What I want to say about it is out of choice and not because somebody is invading my privacy.”
The year 2016 was one of constant speculations for the couple. In May, rumours surfaced that Mouni and Mohit got engaged but she refuted the rumours.
