Did Shankar just ask Rajinikanth aka Chitti to fly? View pic! After Rajinikanth’s Kabali, everyone is super excited for superstar’s next project – 2.0! Every day, some exciting development has been shared about the film. This time around we have the director himself giving us an update on 2.0. It’s a new still of Rajinikanth on the sets of 2.0. But what is the director exactly asking Rajinikanth to do? Is he asking him to fly? Well, when it comes to Thalaiva, anything is possible! On the picture Shankar has also mentioned – ‘2.0 2/3 150’. We can only guess that it’s a shoot update, looks like 2.0 has completed two thirds of the shoot from within 150 days!
It also seems that, the team has completed shooting a crucial climax scene between Rajinikanth and the antagonist played by our Bollywood hottie Akshay Kumar. He’s making his debut down south with 2.0. Well, what a film to begin with, playing the baddie opposite THE Rajinikanth. Akshay plays Dr. Richard who then turns into a crow as a result of a wrong experiment. As stated by Stunt Silva, the climax and fight sequences have already been shot. Silva has always shared a great rapport with director and the superstar. In fact, he called Shankar his godfather. Well, we can’t wait to catch a glimpse of the face off between Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar. In other news, they are speculated to be shooting for a song. They have erected a special set for the same. In fact, this news was confirmed when Amy Jackson tweeted about being in Chennai. She plays the female lead in this action packed movie. The film is reportedly being made on a budget of Rs 350 crore. It will release in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. While they are looking at a release in 2017, the first look will be out this November. Only a month away! Woohoo! There have been reports of a possible clash between Ajay and Rajinikanth as Golmaal 4 and 2.0 were to release on the same day. But Rohit Shetty voluntarily opted out this as he’s too big a fan of the superstar and has too much respect for the senior actor.
So after a super duper hit like Kabali, how excited are you for 2.0? While those who have watched Enthiran would relate to the story more, there is no reason why those who are starting with 2.0 won’t get the story anyway.
