Ajay Devgn finds Salman Khan’s stand on banning Pakistani artistes “saddening” – watch video Ajay Devgn in an interview to CNN-News 18 has condemned the attacks and openly come out in support of Indian army and the ban on Pakistani artistes. He was asked, if it upsets him that the people from the industry like Salman Khan or  Karan Johar are unwilling to take positions on the attacks and ban, Ajay Devgn replied, “upset in the sense, it’s saddening, it is saddening. I don’t know what the reasons are and I don’t even believe they are human beings who are scared at this point of time. Why should anybody be scared?”
He was further asked if it’s because of their commercial interest, Ajay wihtout mincing his words replied, “If it is a commercial interest, there comes a situation in life you have to make choices. Sometimes you lose a lot, we are all talking about losing money and as I said Bollywood is such a small thing. I have been told there is a trade which India exports (to Pakistan) which is more than Rs 2.6 billion. And they are not big traders, there are small traders also involved. Are they worried about what’s gonna happen, is anybody talking about them, nobody’s talking about them. They are not objecting to this becasue they also I feel say nation comes first. So jab itna zyada involvement itne logon ka hai jinko pata bhi nahin hai, they don’t even know ki agle mahine unka ghar kaise chalega. They are with it then we all should be with it and we are all with it.”

Bollywood is divided over the stand on banning Pakitani artistes. Salman Khan and  Karan Johar has faced the ire of the social media trolls over the same and various political parties has been asking for ban on the films as well, they been part of, like Ae Dil Hai  Mushkil.
