Satrangi Sasural actress Mugdha Chaphekar tied the knot with her co-actor and long-time boyfriend Ravish Desai on 14th December. Mugdha and Ravish got married in a Maharashtrian style wedding in Mumbai. While Mugdha stuck to her traditional yellow navari sari, Gujju boy Ravish opted for a cream sherwani. Mugdha looked straight out of a film in her Maharashtrain bride avatar with the nath (nose ring) and gajra.

Mugdha and Ravish fell in love while shooting for ‘Satrangi Sasural’ as the lead couple. Describing her relationship with Ravish, Mugdha said in an earlier interview, “We actually clicked very soon and I never connected like that with anybody before and I am sure the same thing is with Ravish also. We became instant friends and lot of passion for photography, travelling, love for movies, reading and lot of things really jelled well with us and in no time we were best of friends.”

The couple, who had been dating each other for more than a year, got engaged in February this year. Ravish went down on his knees in true Bollywood style to propose Mugdha on the engagement day. “It was like a fairytale engagement. Ravish went down on his knees and proposed. I was treated like a princess. I am really happy that I have someone like him in my life,” Mugdha said in a statement.
