Anurag Basu is all set to show the first glimpses of his much-awaited film “Jagga Jasoos”  to the world on December 20 through innovative content piece “The World of Jagga”.”In a never-seen before marketing initiative, the makers are to unveil the ‘World of Jagga’, which will showcase the fun and adventures that unfold in the life of Jagga Jasoos, on December 20,” said a source close to the team. This content piece will be unlike any other trailer or teasers, said the source.
The official trailer of Jagga Jasoos will most likely be attached with Aamir Khan’s Dangal on 23rd December. We all know that Jagga Jasoos had been in the making for almost two years now. This detective comedy drama, which is also the maiden production venture of Ranbir Kapoor, reportedly faced a lot of delays during its making because of Ranbir and Katrina‘s much-in-public break-up.
A few months ago, the plot of this movie was reportedly leaked and here’s what it said – “Jagga Jasoos revolves around the life of a guy Jagga (Ranbir) who has always been super curious about everything right from his childhood. So when his dad gets killed, he is filled with rage and questions about the killer. It engulfs him so much that he becomes a recluse, away from the world. As he grows up, his only motto is to learn about the killer. Katrina plays a dedicated lover who assists Ranbir in his journey to find the reason behind his dad’s death and travels with her to Kolkata and Morocco.”
“Jagga Jasoos” is slated to be released on April 7, 2017.
