Randeep Hooda SUPPORTS ban on Pakistani artistes – Read tweets The demand for sending back Pakistani actors back to their country has been supported by many. In Bollywood especially a lot of actors have shown their support for the ban and one of them is actor Randeep Hooda. Randeep, whose performance in his previous film Sarabjit garnered him accolades from across the country, took to Twitter to express strong views against the Pakistani artistes. He put across a strong point by saying that not just economically or diplomatically should we isolate Pakistan but also culturally. In a series of tweets, Mr Hooda said that the people of Pakistan will be able to pressurise their government & army to act against the terror organisations only if they are totally isolated. Here’s what Randeep tweeted: “We are trying to isolate Pakistan economically&diplomatically so the cultural isolation must follow #BanPakArtists #IndiaComesFirst #India .”
“The #SurgicalStrike was against the terror camps which don’t apparently don’t exist but What’s happening in #Akhnoor is against a nation..,” he further added. “It is only by isolation that the people of Pakistan will be able to pressurise their govt & army to act against the #terror organisations..,” Randeep said in another tweet.
From Salman Khan, Kangana Ranaut, Saif Ali Khan to Ranbir Kapoor and now Randeep Hooda; everyone from the film industry has reacted to the ban. This comes right after MNS’ threat to Pakistani actors. For all those who don’t know, MNS chief Raj Thackeray gave an ultimatum to Pakistani actors Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan to return to their country within 48 hours. MNS workers even protested outside film maker Karan Johar’s office and now Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray has said that he will not let Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Raees release in the country. ”We have asked the theatres to not release their movie, we must teach them a lesson, the producers are more at fault than those artists,” said Thackeray.
As of now, the situation not only in Bollywood but also in the country is very critical as this is a highly sensitive topic. What will happen next? Do you support Randeep Hooda’s views that Pakistani artistes should not be allowed to work in India? We will have to wait and watch. Keep watching this space for more updates.
