Priyanka Chopra and Bipasha Basu are friends NO more? Bollywood is an industry where relationships are very fickle. People who get along very well initially may turn out to become biggest enemies (read: competitors) in the industry within no time.. We often hear that actresses especially in B-Town have a tough time getting along. And here is yet another example of a Bollywood actress who is miffed with her friend. We are talking about Bipasha Basu and Priyanka Chopra. Yes, they are the new frenemies in B-Town. Bips and PeeCee’s friendship can be traced back to the early 2000s, that’s when they started bonding and ever since then Priyanka and Bipasha have been on great terms. Priyanka was one of the first ones to wish Bipasha when the news of her wedding with Karan Singh Grover broke out. However, their friendship has hit the rocks, or so does it seem. 
So here’s what happened.. Bipasha Basu and Radhika Apte were both contenders for the title role in Priyanka Chopra’s next production based on entrepreneur Kalpana Saroj’s life. Says a source, “But Radhika beat Bipasha and landed the part. This, naturally, upset Bipasha a lot. While Radhika is not a friend of Priyanka’s, Bipasha is and Bips felt PC should have considered that. Bipasha has not signed any films post her marriage and had her hopes pinned on this film. But Priyanka felt that Radhika was best suited to the role, and you can’t get casting wrong. She can’t cast actors based on friendships. She expects Bipasha to understand but right now the sultry actress is hurt and sulking.”
Well, in this case, we cannot blame either of them because they are both right in their own ways. Amidst all this, PC may have lost Bipasha’s friendship but she seems to have found a new friend in Katrina Kaif! Yes, Priyanka and Katrina have become fast friends all of a sudden. In fact, PC even joined Kat and the Dream Team for lunch in NY during the tour.  And guess what.. or rather whom are they bonding over? It’s none other than Ranbir Kapoor! Katrina has recently broken up with Ranbir and must have had loads to talk about. The split did make her superhot but it didn’t take away the hurt of a breakup for sure. So now we hear she confided in PC for all that was bottled up inside her. Moreover, When Kat was in New York for the Dream Team tour, PC invited Kat, Parineeti Chopra and Alia Bhatt over for dinner. Priyanka and Katrina bonded like never before. They have even said to have discussed Ranbir Kapoor and talked about how women need to stick together against the male brigade. Hmm.. interesting!
