Baahubali’s Prabhas becomes the first South Indian actor to have a wax statue at Madame Tussauds!

Baahubali was 2015’s biggest film. No one could get enough of it. The fact that it has become one of the biggest successes of the year. It is also one of the highest grossing films of India and that says a lot because it is essentially a regional film which got a huge distribution and turned into something mammoth. The film broke many records and made people, who were ignorant till then, know about a talented actor from South called Prabhas. Such is his popularity now that the actor will have wax statue at Madam Tussauds, Bangkok. In fact, he is the first south actor to achieve the feat.
S S Rajamouli, director of Baahubali series, took to Twitter to announce this but not without some drama. He began with, “Guess its impossible to keep the news under wraps nowadays.:) Revealing the good news today itself.” That made us very interested in what he is hinting at. We were expecting some revelation about Baahubali 2: The Conclusion. Because that’s one movie we can’t wait to watch. But after making us wait for sometime, he revealed something that made us happier. He wrote, “Very happy to announce that Madame Tussauds is making a wax statue of our PRABHAS.. First South Indian to be honoured thus.” You can feel the happiness in his words. There speaks a happy and satisfied director of an actor. Prabhas’s dedication and performance have surely won him a fan in his director. He also mentioned when it will be unveiled saying, “The statue will be unvieled at Bangkok in March 2017 and subsequently will be toured all over the world.”
Check out the tweets here…
We have a picture of Prabhas holding an eyeball resembling his with someone holding a box carrying more such pieces. It has Madam Tussauds written on it.
As for the Baahubali 2, according to reports, the sequel is set to be bigger and grander, so get ready for some mind blowing action sequences. The entire team is currently filming at Ramoji film city. And now the latest reports suggest, the Baahubali 2 will call it a wrap this November. So there’s one more month to go for Baahubali’s sequel. On October 23, the logo of the sequel was released and it piqued our interest some more. Now, this additional news has only made us impatient for the film.
