Alia Bhatt, whose last outing was the cult hit Udta Punjab, in which she was praised unanimously for her performance. She is currently shooting for her next film with Varun Dhawan,
titled Badrinath ki Dulhaniya, which is an indirect sequel to her
earlier film Humpty Sharma ki Dulhaniya. But forget not, that Ali is
also set to star opposite Ranbir Kapoor in a superhero flick. The movie
will be directed by Ranbir’s BFF Ayan Mukerji, who is famous for Yeh
Jawaani Hai Deewani, and has been tentatively titled Dragon. Back in
July, Alia joined Ranbir Kapoor and Ayan Mukerji in London to start for
the prep of their film. A picture of the three had surfaced online where
the three of them are posing in a studio. Seems like the director and
actress are bonding well ahead of the film – and this Durga puja attendance is the proof. We can’t for the film to go on floors. Alia looked gorgeous in a blue salwar kameez, while Ayan looked handsome in yellow kurta.The pooja saw the participation of the entire Mukherjee family. Along with Ayan, also present at the event were Kajol. She looked utterly beautiful in their Bengali saree. Kajol, who has recently made her debut on Facebook, was also seen serving food to the attendees. Anu Malik and Ashutosh Gowariker were also spotted attending the pooja. This is Ahsutosh’s first public appearance post the announcement that he will be seen acting in Priyanka Chopra’s Marathi production Ventilator. Ashutosh has earlier directed Priyanka in What’s Your Rashee.
The Durga festival is being celebrated in full glory all across the nation. Just yesterday, Sushmita Sen was snapped attending a Durga pooja with her daughters Alisah and Renee. The actress even twinned with her younger one.
If you remember a few years ago, around the time of Rockstar’s release, pictures of Ranbir Kapoor attending the Durga pooja with Ayan went viral. And today, we have Alia seeking blessings from Maa Durga with the Mukherji family.
