WATCH new xXx video: Deepika Padukone in Vin Diesel's arms

The Return of Xander Cage star carries Deepika Padukone in his arms because "it's in the contract".

Deepika Padukone shared a new video on her Facebook page today (July 28) which shows the making of her upcoming Hollywood debut film xXx: Return of Xander Cage. Besides shots of Deepika performing some kick-ass stunts, the video includes Vin Diesel carrying Deepika Padukone around on the film's sets.


Vin Diesel holding Deepika in his muscular arms, looks at the camera, and says, "This is how I carry her to her trailer. It's in the contract." Deepika nods solemnly.


xXx: Return of Xander Cage is the third film in the xXx franchise. However, it is related mostly to the first film xXx (2002) starring Vin Diesel and not the second film of the franchise Ice Cube-starrer xXx: State of the Union (2005).

The first film xXx was centered on the adventures of Xander Cage (Diesel), a rebellious extreme sports enthusiast who is recruited by NSA (National Security Agency) agent Augustus Eugene Gibbons and turned into a spy who infiltrates a villainous group of rogue Russian soldiers called Anarchy 99.
In the upcoming film Return of Xander Cage, Xander Cage is brought back by Gibbons (Samuel L Jackson, reprising his role) to fight a new enemy. Deepika Padukone plays Serena Unger, who, at one point, was Xander Cage's lover.
The trailer has already amassed more than 2 million views.While Deepika makes her debut with xXx: Return of Xander Cage, her contemporary Priyanka Chopra is also making her Hollywood film debut with 2017's Baywatch co-starring Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron.
xXx: Return of Xander Cage directed by D.J Caruso is scheduled for a January 20 release, next year.
