The Kapil Sharma Show: Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan laugh about not being star enough to have a Eid or Diwali release
Here are the best bits of The Kapil Sharma Show featuring Badrinath Ki Dulhania actors Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan.
Another laughter filled episode of The Kapil Sharma Show unfolded. And
Kapil’s jokes were like always a little crude, but mostly hilarious.
The esteemed guests on the show this time were Alia Bhatt and Varun
Dhawan. They were on the show to promote their upcoming release
Badrinath Ki Dulhania. Maybe they should rename the show to The Movie
Promotions Show from TKSS. The actors took part in all the jokes and
skits with utmost joy, and left the audience in splits with their sense
of humour. They shook a leg on their songs from BKD and fulfilled the
quota for dance and songs. But the most hilarious moment on the show
came when Kapil, Alia and Varun talked about how their stardom was not
enough to secure them a Eid release. Here are the best bits of The Kapil
Sharma Show featuring Badrinath Ki Dulhania actors Alia Bhatt and Varun
Dhawan-
We know how Eid and Diwali are usually secured by the big names of the industry like Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan. Last year on Eid, Salman released his film Sultan. Holi, despite of being a big festival is not considered a big day for releases as students have their exams going on during this time. And Badrinath Ki Dulhania is releasing on Holi. Kapil quizzed the stars about this, and funnily the two of them quipped that they are not big enough stars to have a Eid or Diwali release. Kapil Sharma upon hearing this says that in that case, he would have to make peace with having a Naag Panchami release.
One super cute moment in the show was when everyone sang Happy Birthday for Alia Bhatt’s grandmother, who was turning 89 that day. How sweet!
Alia Bhatt later sang song Mai Tenu Samjhawan and Humsafar. Kapil joined the actress. It was a delight to watch.
