It’s really sad to see Kapil Sharma’s downfall after his ugly fallout with Sunil Grover. While
initially we refused to believe the reports. Soon there were shocking
evidences put forth where Sunil too hit back at Kapil by asking him to
start ‘respecting humans apart from animals” and “stop acting like a
God.” Things got worse when Kapil’s fellow mates Ali Asgar and Chandan
Prabhakar too quit The Kapil Sharma Show to express solidarity. We dunno
what fate holds for Kapil but seeing how things are getting uglier by
the day, we really feel Kapil should take a cue or two from Salman
Khan’s way of handling stardom if not anyone else. I mean, I agree there
are many other personalities who are equally an inspiration but knowing
how much Kapil admires Salman and respects him, I feel had he payed
some attention to Salman’s advice, he wouldn’t have faced this today.
We are talking about this old interview where Salman had spoken about stardom saying, “When you become successful, people start agreeing with you on anything and everything you say. Whatever you do, they say you are right; eventually even you start feeling that you can never go wrong. Which is why I always stay close to my family and my close ones who tell me what’s wrong and what’s right. They never hesitate from telling me if I am making a mistake and that keeps me grounded. ” Well said, right?
No wonder Kareena Kapoor Khan too has time and again gushed about Salman’s this down to earth attitude. She believes, “Salman is somebody who is just unbelievable as a person. He is emotional and yet strong (Pauses). The best thing about Salman Khan is that he is unfazed. That’s the right word for him. He is unfazed by his success, he is unfazed by his failure and he is unfazed by his superstardom. That’s what makes him the biggest, most successful superstar of our times. He doesn’t care that he is such a star. He is above his films. Entering with multiple bodyguards or just showing off clout is Not what defines a star.”
