Aishwarya Rai Bachchan‘s father breathed his last on March 18 after prolonged illness. Krishnaraj
Rai had been in a critical state since the last couple of weeks. It was
a rather upsetting episode for entire Bachchan parivaar
as Aishwarya’s father Krishnaraj’s health deteriorated day by day. Ash
and Abhishek along with Amitabh Bachchan were frequently spotted at
Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital where he was admitted. We shared with you
pictures of the funeral a few days where Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was
teary eyed. Today, we have images from the chautha which happened at a
hotel in Bandra. This time Aaradhya was there too.

IANS reported that Amitabh Bachchan had grieved about Aishwarya’s father in his blog. “The 74-year-old thespian also grieved about the loss on his blog. He wrote: “Glimpses of reactions in the mind, of the lost one, of those that shall reflect on the lost one and suddenly then in the midst of sorrow and grief among the grieved and grieving. That walk to the ultimate destination and the reality… Embracing the tragedy, the discussions on its transport, its rituals, its formalities… The custom, the tradition, the visitors with the sadness and the embrace of consolation, the last rites, the carriage, the placement, the cremation… What to say what to put out where to put to… All laden with grief and departure.
