You will be SHOCKED to find out what Taapsee Pannu feels sorry for – watch video
Taapsee Pannu addresses important issues while promoting Naam Shabana and it's a must watch.
Taapsee Pannu will be seen in yet another women-centric film, Naam Shabana, which is a prequel to Akshay Kumar‘s
Baby. The actress looks strong and fierce in her role and is ensuring
that she promotes the film in a rather educating way. Earlier Taapsee,
along with Akshay Kumar, had releaseda video demonstrating how to defend
yourself if you’re being attacked. The actress recently starred in a
video that further stresses on women’s rights. It also talks about how
important it is for you to be able to protect and arm your body. Even if
it is something that you have been hearing for a long time now, it is
really worth the effort and creates an impact.
There are few lines in the video that you will relate to or rather, something things you need to take seriously. That last line that says “Self defence is no longer just an option”. That we completely agree with. The film has been promoting self defence since the beginning and this was definitely one of the ways to do it. After Pink, this is the second women-centric film she will be seen in. The actress has braided the top of her head and let the bottom half of her hair loose in the video.
She doesn’t speak much or do much in the video, except giving you deadly stares that will make you feel guilty for not respecting your body enough. The first half of the video also reminds you of a similar video that Kalki Coechlin had done with AIB titled “It’s My Fault”. The only difference being this one is more on a serious and straight-forward note, the Kalki one was sarcastic. Though the concept and motive of both these videos are completely different, it revolves around how women are treated in our society. Only this one comes with a solution to the problem. Naam Shabana is set to release on 31st March 2017.
