Abhishek Bachchan is a versatile actor who has given us some a range of performances over the past few years. Be it Dhoom 3 or Happy New Year or Housefull 3, the actor has tried his hands at nearly all genre of films. But it is the thriller zone, where he has delivered some of his best performances yet. Remember his parts in Sarkar and Dum Maro Dum? His strong character in Guru
was also inspirational. However, Abhishek hasn’t been seen in a
thriller or a lead role since a while now. He has been working on
ensembles over the past couple of years. But looks like he is returning
to the lead and the thriller zone all at once.
Reports suggest that KriArj Entertainment and Kyta Productions are planning to work on a special film together. Directed by Nishikant Kamath, the film will star Abhishek Bachchan in the lead role and will have a few more characters around him. However, the makers still have to finalise the name for the movie. As a source revealed to PTI, “Abhishek has loved the idea and he is charged up for this film as he has never tried his hands at thriller films. There is no specific prep work required for the film. The shoot for the film will begin from May this year and hopefully the film will release during winter. The film will mostly be shot in two schedules.”
The makers are trying to keep the details under wraps, but from what we hear, Abhishek will have a strong character and an inspiring message will be given out through the movie.
