When Salman Khan wanted to SLAP Varun Dhawan

When Salman Khan wanted to SLAP Varun Dhawan

Say what? Salman Khan wanted to slap Varun Dhawan?

When Salman Khan wanted to SLAP Varun Dhawan

Now we knew for a fact Salman Khan is a little short-tempered but little did we expect he also wanted to slap Varun Dhawan at one point in time. Yes, Varun in his recent media interaction revealed when Salman actually warned him that he will slap him. But hold on, before you jump the guns wondering if Varun and Salman have fallen out then well, let’s clarify – Salman wanted to slap Varun just coz the latter called him ‘uncle’. Can you believe it?

Varun, who has slipped into Salman’s shoes for Judwaa 2, caught up with the media this afternoon for a fun interaction. That’s when he recalled to this funny incident, the first time he met Salman. He said, “When I saw Salman for the first time, I called him Salman uncle. He said I will slap you if you call me uncle, call me bhai.” Haha! We can totally imagine Salman saying that in the jest of it. But just in case you didn’t realise, Salman is 22 years older than Varun. That’s a different thing that Salman still looks as desirable as he is still in his 40s.
Anyway, coming back to Salman and Varun’s bonding, the two’s friendship goes back a long way. In fact, Varun idolises Salman as he even admits he’s grown up watching Khan through all his films. So when people get up to compare Varun with Salman just because he’s replaced him in Judwaa 2, Varun tries to remain unfazed as he says, “I am not thinking about that. When I do a film, I do it to entertain the audience that’s the only thought I have. Eventually people have to come to the theaters and get entertained.”
Not to mention, Varun had even come out in support of Salman during the rape controversy. He said, “It’s just people are choosing their agenda to push it. And as far as I am concerned, I am close enough to him, to tell him my viewpoint in person, which I will express in person, I don’t want to join anyone’s agenda to further the controversy.”
