Humsafar from Badrinath Ki Dulhania is a soothing romantic song but here’s what we didn’t like about it
‘Humsafar’ from ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ is a soothing romantic number
The
first out and out romantic song from Varun Dhawan and Alia
Bhatt-starrer ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ is out and it is soothing to ears.
Titled ‘Humsafar,’ the song is composed, written and sung by Akhil
Sachdeva with Mansheel Gujral giving additional vocals. While we are
pretty impressed by the song, we feel that Akhil is not the perfect
choice to playback for Varun. Had the video been shot without Varun
lip-syncing the song, it would have come out much better. Check out some
of the most beautiful stills from the video in succeeding slides...
Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt share effortless chemistry
The
song’s video begins with Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt sitting on a bench.
Alia tells him, “Aur koi ummeed mat rakhna Badri,” to which Varun
audaciously replies, “Ummeed pe toh aashiqui kaayam hai” leaving Alia
smiling a shy smile. We totally love Varun and Alia’s effortless
chemistry in this scene and we expect to see many of such scenes in
‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania.’
Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt must have had fun while shooting the song
If
you watch the video carefully, you will feel that Varun Dhawan and Alia
Bhatt must have had a whale of a time while shooting the video. One can
assume that they have been told by the director Shashank Khaitan to be
their natural selves rather than trying to act. See how cute both of
them look as they try to click a selfie together.
‘Humsafar’ beautifully captures the special moments between two lovers
The
video of ‘Humsafar’ beautifully captures the special moments between
onscreen lovers Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt. Throughout the video, the
two can be seen having the time of their lives. The duo even did jet
skiing. The expressions on their faces are priceless.
‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ is Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt’s third film together
Here’s
another beautiful still from the video wherein Varun Dhawan and Alia
Bhatt can be seen posing against a waterfall. The two look stunning
together and there are no two ways about it. It is not without a reason
that Dharma Productions decided to make third film with them and that
too, within a span of just four years since Varun-Alia’s debut in
‘Student of the Year’ in 2012.
