The first out and out romantic song from Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt-starrer ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ is out and it is soothing to ears. Titled ‘Humsafar,’ the song is composed, written and sung by Akhil Sachdeva with Mansheel Gujral giving additional vocals. While we are pretty impressed by the song, we feel that Akhil is not the perfect choice to playback for Varun. The song’s video begins with Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt sitting on a bench. Alia tells him, “Aur koi ummeed mat rakhna Badri,” to which Varun audaciously replies, “Ummeed pe toh aashiqui kaayam hai” leaving Alia smiling a shy smile. We totally love Varun and Alia’s effortless chemistry in this scene and we expect to see many of such scenes in ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania.’

One can assume that they have been told by the director Shashank Khaitan to be their natural selves rather than trying to act.
