Here’s something interesting. Karan Johar just stated that he would like to work with Deepika Padukone and Kangana Ranaut. That’s something new
to hear. If you think about it, the filmmaker has never worked with
either of the divas. Well, he may have produced DP’s Yeh Jawaani Hai
Deewani but that’s about it. And Kangana and Karan have always
maintained a good distance with neither of them ever teaming up for
projects. However, with this latest confession made by the filmmaker, it
would be interesting to see who he chooses to work with first and
whether he sticks to his words. So in the afternoon, a #Karananswers
trend started on Twitter where he gave honest answers for questions
asked by fans and Twitterati. While quite a lot of stupid questions were
asked, there were some queries made by fans which even we have been
wondering for a while. That also includes this question of whether he’ll
ever collaborate with Deepika and Kangana.
The questions were asked by two separate Twitter handles but the director was game for both the divas. It would be such an interesting collaboration, don’t you think? We can imagine Deepika and Karan team up because we’ve seen them have a cordial relationship and they’re pretty good friends. But with Kangana it’s different. The ballsy actress has often called out the filmmaker for being the flag bearer of nepotism in the industry. So perhaps after her rendezvous with Koffee With Karan, Johar is actually intrigued with the actress and wants to create a project that would be perfect for her? We don’t know what brought such a change in opinion for Karan but it definitely would be an interesting alliance, don’t you think
Speaking of nepotism, KJo was also asked to comment on Kangana’s fiery statement about nepotism. To this, he gave a very safe answer by saying, Not entirely! She made an impact with her sweeping statements! That was fun…for her! And the show.” It had all started when Kangana openly called him the flag bearer of nepotism in the industry on his very show! “In my biopic, if it is ever made, you (Karan) will play this stereotypical Bollywood biggie who is very snooty and completely intolerant to outsiders and the flag bearer of nepotism, the movie mafia. You will have a huge part to play in my biopic. I like the antagonist in you in my biopic,” were her exact words.
