Rannvijay Singha: Harbhajan Singh and I talk a lot about our daughters, Kainaat and Hinaya
Rannvijay Singha has the cutest things to say about Harbhajan Singh, the dad - read interview
Rannvijay Singha
became a proud dad to a little angel in January, 2017. His baby girl’s
name is Kainaat. The VJ-actor-host is back with Roadies Rising and this
time he has Harbhajan Singh
as a judge. Talking about his experience of working with Turbanator,
Rannvijay said, “He is fantastic. Harbhajan is competitive being an
sportsman but what is striking is that he is a man of great morals. He
is a good son, brother, husband and father. Harbhajan will be a positive
influence on the youngsters. Of course, he will throw his Googlies that
will make life tough for our gangs. He has an interesting role on the
show. Moreover, he has masti and the hard-working attitude that
characterises a real Roadie.”
The handsome man also shared how baby talk was their No.1 past-time. “My life has changed ever since I became a dad. All I want to do is pack-up fast so that I can be with my little one. We talk a lot about Kainaat and Hinaya. Moreover, both our wives are from London, so that are lot of common factors. Harbhajan is loving being a dad and he does share his anecdotes with me. He’ll say, see your baby will do this after this. We are having a fabulous time. In fact, we start talking about our daughters just after the first Hi’s and Hello’s.”
Well, Harbhajan Singh is also a proud dad to Hinaya Heer Plaha. Geeta Basra and he became proud parents last year and the cricketer is over the moon. “Both of us are head over heels in love with our babies,” says Rannvijay. He admitted that he is always on the lookout to get a week off to be with Kainaat.
He also said they are missing Karan Kundraa on the show. “We will miss him. Karan was hugely popular with the contestants but then he has moved on. Everyone has his own journey in life,” he said. Karan has taken up an assignment in London and wrote how much he missed the show. Along with Rannvijay, he was synonymous with Roadies in the last few years.
This year, Roadies Rising will start from Jhansi and take us on the route of places that were of great importance during India’s freedom struggle. “I feel it is a great opportunity to know more about India’s rich heritage and brave personalities who contributed for this nation. We are tracing the journey of India’s great warriors and we hope we are inspired.” The host adds that they never thought about making Roadies for a certain set of audience. “We are doing well since 14 years as we are true to ourselves. We capture the most honest reactions. Yes, we are particular about how contestants treat women. But is very real,” he says.
