Finally the Koffee With Karan episode featuring Kapil Sharma is here – watch video

A lot has been said and written about Kapil Sharma-Karan Johar’s alleged fall out on the Koffee With Karan. In fact, every now and then there were several reports of Karan Johar scrapping the episode featuring Kapil Sharma. Also, the delay in the telecast of the episode further solidified the report, as the episode was shot way back in December last year. But now the official page of Star World has revealed that the next episode will indeed feature Kapil Sharma as the guest star on the couch. As we all know, Koffee With Karan is a chat show that is primarily in English, unlike Kapil’s The Kapil Sharma Show, which has Hindi as its prime language. And so, many times, jokes have been cracked on Kapil Sharma’s command (or the lack of it) over the English language. So, it’ll be interesting to see how Kapil will manage conversing in the language on Koffee With Karan. In the video, Kapil can be seen telling Karan how he knows 700 words in English language and he’d really prefer if they can talk in Hindi. So just like The Kapil Sharma Show, Koffee With Karan, too, will take a dig at Kapil’s English speaking skills, as can be seen in the promo.

Earlier it was reported that their friendship hit a rough patch at a recent awards show, according to sources who stated that KJo was miffed when Kapil called him his assistant and dissed him along with Shah Rukh Khan. Similarly, the comedian was apparently upset with the filmmaker for asking rather personal questions in the KWK episode. A source told DNA, “Karan asked him how come he took to Twitter so early in the morning? Didn’t he have a girlfriend with whom he could spend the time instead? Kapil was embarrassed and didn’t know what to say. He told Karan he is not comfortable answering such questions. He also commented that he himself never asks such things to his guests when they come on his show. Also, since Kapil is not very fluent in English, he would have been fearing how it would be interpreted.”
