What’s the difference between Deepika Padukone‘s Oscars 2017 after party look and her Vogue beauty awards outing way back in 2012? Well, she has upgraded her look and made it classier but she could’ve done a better job. We spoke to fashion expert Manish Mishra and he had something interesting to say about the look. Back in 2012, at the Vogue Beauty awards, Deepika had donned a black and golden Dolce and Gabbana gown. She styled her hair with wavy tresses and donned a light but good makeup. But guess what, she has done it again! After being tired of making drab appearances, the diva has moved on to going back to her own looks and recreating the same look. Yes, she does look better but she could’ve done much much better, don’t you think?

Manish told us, “She should probably move out of this gold and black look. She’s been wearing too much gold and too much black. The look has been styled very similarly. The hair and the lips are also the same if I’m not wrong. It’s kind of repetitive. But I think she needs a new styling energy. She needs a now sort of energy but I’m liking what’s she’s been doing at the airport. Her airport looks have been very on point. But when it comes to red carpet, she needs to up her game.” Well, we think so too! Already we are quite disappointed with her latest outings but repeating the look with bare minimum changes is not acceptable.
While Deepika has been scoring pretty bad with the fashion cops and fans, Priyanka Chopra’s fashion outings have become critic’s favourite. Be it her pre-Oscars party pictures or her red carpet appearance, fans are literally drooling at the sight of the desi girl. We wonder what this means for Deepika’s stylist.
