The eagle has landed! Priyanka Chopra is here at the 89th Academy Awards! The moment we’ve been waiting for is finally here. The diva stuns the red carpet of Oscars wearing
a simple but futuristic Ralph and Russo gown. Throughout her prep time,
she continued to put stuff on her Instagram to tease us more and more.
But now that the look is out, was all the tease worth it? Well, we’d
like to say that while the outfit is very interesting and something
PeeCee has never tried before, we’re not big fans of the front of the
gown. It looks a little off and when you see the side profile, it looks
terrible. Although her makeup and hair is totally lovely and sparks
glamour, our only problem is with the front of the gown. Maybe it’s not
the right pick for her? The diamond earrings and bracelets definitely
add a gorgeous touch to the whole ensemble, we can guarantee that!
Last year Priyanka had opted for a white Zuhair Murad sheer gown which became an instant hit with the fashion critics of the Oscars. However, with this futuristic white and silver gown, would she be able to win hearts? Because apart from the top half of the gown, it isn’t all that bad. As long as PeeCee continues to stand straight and not give a side profile, the look ain’t that bad. Even the jewellery and selection of hairdo has been done right. She came she saw but did she conquer? That’s a question we’ll have to leave for later. As we mentioned earlier, the diva won’t be presenting any award this year unlike last time. While so far she has been having a hit red carpet streak but will that come to a halt with this one? To be very honest, many of the celebs this year have worn quite drab-like ensembles.
