Farida Jalal not DEAD; the veteran actress slams hoax reports by calling it irritating
Farida Jalal is NOT dead.
When it comes to social media, spreading fake news around is not uncommon anymore. The latest buzz was the fake news of Farida Jalal‘s
death that had Twitter and Facebook buzzing like crazy since last
evening. But how did this news spread? Well, someone happened to update
her wikipedia page with her death news and that was enough for the news
to spread. Fans all around started to mourn her death, paying tribute to
the much loved actress. But guys, we all can calm down because she in
fact is NOT dead. Sources have confirmed as per leading portals, that
she was having dinner last evening. On hearing her fake death news, the
veteran actress reacted herself as per reports on DNA,”I don’t know from
where these baseless rumours are coming from. Initially I laughed, but
from last 30 mins my phone have been constantly ringing and everybody is
asking the same question. It’s a bit irritating, I wonder why people
spread such rumours.” She is not the first first celebrity to have been a
target of the death hoax. Before this there have been other celebrities
– Dilip Kumar, Yo Yo Honey Singh to name a few.
Farida Jalal will soon be seen in (TV actor) Imran Khan’s Sargoshiyan where she plays a Kashmiri. Farida Jalal is one of our senior most actors who epitomised the concept of a loving, understanding mother in Bollywood in the 90s. Her role in DDLJ cannot be forgotten. In fact, she won a Filmfare award for that memorable performance. She is also well known for her role on TV in the popular series – Shararat. The actress has worked in nearly 200 films and has also worked across multiple languages.
