Varun Dhawan wants Alia Bhatt to sing Humsafar from Badrinath Ki Dulhania, will Karan Johar allow it?

Badrinath Ki Dulhania has a great buzz around it. Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt‘s chemistry has already made us impatient for the film which releases in March. It could have been a great Valentine’s Day treat but guess we will have to make do with a March release only. Whenever it releases, it will surely be a hit. Now this is a sequel to the earlier hit Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. In that film, Alia Bhatt even had a song to her credit, Samjhawan. So with the second film, we were expecting something on the same lines too. Turns out so does Varun Dhawan. Yes, the actor has requested Karan Johar to make Alia sing Humsafar.

Now Humsafar is a song in BKD. It’s a soft number in the album which is composed, sung and written by Akhil Sachdeva. And we must say we were impressed with all the departments he has worked on. His voice, however, has a strong Atif Aslam hangover to it. This song will for sure find its way to your playlist. And now if Karan gives in to Varun’s demands, there could be a version by Alia as well. At least he is trying his best and his Dulhania is also aiding him. Check out their banter here.
