Rangoon shoot made Kangana Ranaut’s legal tussle with Hrithik Roshan difficult

2016 was quite a year full of controversies. From the ban on Pakistani artistes, to the showdown between makers of Shivaay and Ae Dlil Hai Mushkil – there was something sensational spread across the newspapers on regular intervals. One big controversy was the legal mess that Kangana Ranaut and Hrithik Roshan got into. And seems like the issue hasn’t fizzled out yet. Kangana has yet again taken an opportunity, out of context, and acknowledged the ‘legal issue back home’.
Kangana is all set to rock the screen with her fierce avatar in Vishal Bhardwaj’s next Rangoon. While talking to a news daily about the film, she spoke about the hardships the crew had to go through to shoot it. You know the movie has been shot in many remote locations, since it has backdrop of a war, including sites in Arunachal Pradesh. “The phone network was really bad. It got especially difficult when I had to deal with a legal mess back home in Mumbai. We’d drive 20 kilometers to receive calls. But otherwise, when I am working I love non-network zones, especially places like Arunachal Pradesh, which are so beautiful.” she said. 20 Kms to receive calls? That sounds like quite a task. Well, we aren’t aware of any other legal mess that Kangana got into last year in Mumbai, other than the one where she locked horns with Hrithik’s lawyers. Way to be vague, Kangana!
This vagueness is exactly what got her in trouble in the first place. Last year, when asked about Aashqiui 3 with Hrtihik being shelved, she wondered why ‘exes do silly things’, out loud, in a press con. This didn’t go down well Hrithik, and his lawyers sent out a legal notice to the actress asking for an apology and refuting any claims of any romantic relationship of their client with her. Kangana in return, had her lawyers send legal notices to Hrithik. Private emails and pictures were leaked later, and stirred the controversy more. And it still has not reached it’s conclusion.
